As a teacher and activist, I am accustomed to identifying out-of-school children, and parents who cannot afford school fees. I’ve participated with a team of active community members to organize fundraisings to secure continuous education for students. I am keen to use my expertise and tenacity to support the education team in the overall implementation of the education project initiated by Caritas. Shortly, during my career path, I’ve participated in planning and implementing not only educational programs in mathematics but also non-formal education activities to reinforce self-esteem and help students find ways to contribute to their communities. I’ve trained teachers, mentored students, monitored the implementation of action plans, and measured performance to ensure educational progress. I’ve also provided financial assistance to 20 students, by organizing fundraisings and engaging alumni groups. As someone experienced in teaching and community work, I understand the importance of creating a challenging, fun, and safe environment for students. I take pride in getting to know students on a personal level to better understand their needs, and I enjoy taking an active role in listening actively to their concerns, meeting parents and teachers to solve their problems, and coordinate education activities.
